Prayer Patrol is a community led, faith based initiative.
Our main aim is to reduce crime and help build safer communities.
Currently there are people from about ten Bristol churches involved, with other groups in Nottingham, Mansfield and Wolverhampton. Local people who follow Jesus come together to improve the atmosphere in our area. As Prayer Patrollers, we walk the streets of the inner city, talking with people, being a presence on the street and praying.
We know that our presence on the street and our conversations make a difference, but most of all we believe that all of us can be set free from whatever is dragging us down, from the stuff that seems impossible to fix, from the stuff that only God can do - so we pray!
